Painted Horses: A young teacher, destined to be a loser like the many generations in her family that preceded her, Ms. Hoog (Madelyn Deutch), must win over an impossible collection of kids and becomes a balm in a troubled town in need of healing. The legacy ends with her, and by strength of character and sheer determination she forges a new path and a new destiny for her and her son.
